My son and I found this restaurant on our trip to NYC last week as we came out of the subway and were walking to to see the Brooklyn Bridge. We were hungry for a late lunch and, to be honest, this was the first "A" rated restaurant we saw along the way so we decided to give it a try. We ordered spring rolls, which were light and fresh. The hot tea was piping hot. The lunch special was a tremendous value with generous portions. The general chicken and sweet and sour chicken were both delicious. The soup was good and the pineapple bites for dessert added a nice touch. We would definitely go back.

One of my favorite Cantonese restaurants. My family is slightly health conscious and we find their food here to be perfectly seasoned. Never overly salty or oily like many other Chinese restaurants. Any food that is fried like crispy chicken, salt and pepper pork, or fried oysters is always done well. Light and crispy, never soggy or with too much batter. There is also amble seating and good for large groups. They also provide delivery service.

Surprising find! Fresh and delicious food!! The restaurant looking normal from the outside. However, all the dishes we order are fresh and nicely cooked.(steam fish, shrimp ball, beef slice appetizer...). The waiter was friendly too.

They were mostly great on their food, but sometime their food comes out too oily, and tasteless, but most of the time were great. will give them another chance.

Some great dishes: beef and broccoli, beef with peppers and black bean sauce, mapo tofu, beef chow fun dry style... I literally love them! LOL...

I'm not Cantonese so I can't speak wholly to the authenticity of every Cantonese restaurant in Chinatown (of which there are supposedly many) but my hunch is that most Cantonese folks are disappointed with the current offerings. Most places have shuttered and replaced by hipster restaurants, dessert shops and hotpot joints. Congee village has been a long-time favorite of mine but I can easily say that Bite of Hong Kong is a very close second. The only drawback is the prices. We shared Fish Three Ways and this ran for a cool ~$65...which is pretty insane. That said, it was absolutely delicious and worth it if price weren't a factor. Per the other reviews, this place has clearly undergone a renovation recently, so the tables, seats and dcor are all brand new. Service is Chinese: hands-off, perfunctory, yet to the point. I'd say this is a solid spot to try if you've got a Canto food craving.

This has got to be one of the better and legitimate Cantonese joints in Chinatown. I've always wondered why so many places in Chinatown have chefs that are from China that can't even cook up a decent Cantonese meal. This place doesn't have that problem. I've been here on 3 different occasions (2 times takeout and once dine in) and each of those times, I left a happy customer. My go-to dish that my friends and I order from here is the Peking pork chop over rice. This dish consists of a bed of rice and crispy and sweet pork chops. The dish is savory and filling. I'd highly recommend the braised lamb with fried bean curds, salted fish casserole, Chinese vegetables and their crabs if you're ever dining in.

New Cantonese style comfort food in the neighborhood! Very similar to Cha Chan Tang, but much cleaner and tastier. The staff are all really friendly and attentive. The Young Chow Fried rice here are so good. The dishes taste pretty standard to any HK style place, but this will be my go to place now considering how friendly and clean it is. The portion and price is also pretty good.

We ordered: tofu casserole, snails, steak, some Chinese vegetable that I am unable to translate to English, cold jelly fish, and many more. The flavor is great but the size for some food can be a bit small. At the end they provided complimentary water melon and black bean soup as dessert. The black bean soup was not bad.

Bite of Hong Kong is my family's favorite Cantonese restaurant. We have eaten at the restaurant several times. This was the first time we ordered and they were surprisingly fast considering it was Chinese New Year weekend and raining. Definitely would order from them again.
